Grammy Award winning gospel artist Kirk Franklin received a pleasant surprise during a trip to Nigeria. David Tlale, is a South African fashion designer who reached out to Franklin prior to his trip to Lagos, Nigeria for a concert during his African ministry tour. Tlale, who has been tailoring garments for over 15 years, made a custom suit for Franklin to wear on stage. Tlale’s website describes his clothing as, “Couture that embodies beauty without pretense and shuns harshness for poise, answering the call today’s men and women…”
