Nearly 3,000 people, including cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, friends and families of those affected by the disease laced up their shoes and walked around downtown Cleveland to raise awareness for breast cancer.

“Because I’m a survivor, I’m just very happy to be here, to be able to help other people. You get hopeful,” said Chris Miller, a five-year survivor.

Team after team put one foot in front of the other during the three-mile walk, all while hoping and praying for a cure.
