Isaiah and J.R. scanned and bagged groceries for customers, then paid their bills for them!

As a former bagger at a grocery store growing up, this story absolutely warms my heart.

On Monday, Cavs stars J.R. Smith and Isaiah Thomas popped in unannounced at the Giant Eagle supermarket on West 117th in Cleveland as part of the ‘Cavaliers Season of Giving,’ presented by Nestle’ Baking.

The Cavs guards scanned and bagged customers’ groceries for them, posed for pictures, then gave them a huge surprise by paying their bills!

The Cavaliers picked up the tab of all the shoppers that came through the two players’ lines. It was all part of spreading some holiday spirit.
