LeBron James got the better of Lonzo Ball in his first meeting with the polarizing point guard, with the Cleveland Cavaliers defeating the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 121-112 at Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday night.
James recorded a triple-double, scoring 25 points to go along with 12 rebounds and 12 assists, while Kevin Love scored 28 points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
Ball, meanwhile, neared a triple-double of his own with 13 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds, while second-year forward Brandon Ingram scored 26 points in a losing effort.
