An RTA bus driver is in stable condition after being assaulted while working on Monday afternoon.
According to the RTA, the assault happened on the No. 30 bus route at approximately 4 p.m. near the intersection of E. 147th and Lakeshore.
The suspect was apprehended by a Transit officer and a Cleveland Police detective and is now in custody.
The operator was transported to University Hospitals and is in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
