2018 has officially arrived and if you’re into New Year’s Resolutions, we think Christian chef,
Ayesha Curry, has the hands down best one.
“New Year’s Resolution: Put God first,” posted the wife of Golden State Warriors’ two-time
MVP, Stephen Curry, on Instagram.
Placing God at the top of the priority list gets a big thumbs up—way up!
At a time when many folks will be committing to losing weight, investing in more self-care, and
vowing to have more fun, the Food Network host of “Ayesha’s Homemade” and author of the
best-selling cookbook, “The Seasoned Life,” says honoring the Father will “always and
forever” be her goal for any year.
One commenter weighed in by expounding upon Curry’s sentiments from a scriptural
viewpoint, posting Matthew 6:33, which says, “But seek first his kingdom and his
righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Aside from prioritizing her spiritual well-being and focusing on her relationship with God, the 28-
year-old spent some quality time with family to ring in 2018.
“Holding my love and my little ones tight tonight. Lots of kisses and prayers up,” she said.
“Couldn’t think of a better way to bring in the New Year!”
With her focus on God and family, Mrs. Curry is absolutely right when she says, “This year is
going to be fantastic.”
