The City of Cleveland is reviewing its policies after a shooting at the Glenville Recreation Center Wednesday evening.

Even though there was an off-duty officer working security there at the time, no one called police for 95 minutes.

The shooting happened at 5:31 p.m. at the Cleveland Glenville Recreation Center, 680 East 113th Street.

The manager of the facility told authorities that a group of teens was sitting in the game room playing dice when a gun accidentally went off, the police report stated.

The manager told authorities police weren’t called immediately because the staff was “trying to secure everything and make sure everybody was OK.”
