Former first lady Michelle Obama dished with Ellen about her awkward Inauguration Day gift exchange with Melania Trump and revealed what exactly was inside the fancy box.
During her first television interview since leaving the White House, Obama told “Ellen” host Ellen DeGeneres in an episode set to air Thursday what happened when the new first lady unexpectedly handed her a Tiffany’s box at the front steps of the White House on Inauguration Day last year.
“There’s all this protocol. This is like a state visit, so they tell you that you’re going to do this, they’re going to stand here,” she explains.
