Every year, OUR ROOTS has been celebrating Black achievers, men and women here on EURweb in February. Each week will feature another set of OUR ROOTS which appreciates the gifts in our Black heroes and their achievements, sung and unsung, past, present and future..

Award winner and contributor, TAYO Fatunla is a Nigerian Comic Artist, writer and illustrator and Editorial cartoonist. He is a graduate of the prestigious U.S. Art school, The Kubert School, New Jersey. His Black history cartoons OUR ROOTS are used for educational purposes in school books, Newsletters, journals and for presentations. His cartoon workshop sessions on Black History and mainstream workshop sessions are sought after in schools libraries and Museums such as the British Museum –
