Florida suspect’s digital profile ‘very, very disturbing’:

Nikolas Cruz, described as a loner by a former classmate, had once been expelled from a Parkland, Florida, high school for disciplinary reasons.

On Wednesday, the 19-year-old former student returned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and is suspected of gunning down at least 17 people, in a massacre that has now become one of the 10 deadliest mass shootings in modern US history.
Investigators believe that the suspect pulled the fire alarm to draw people out and get a higher death toll, according to a law enforcement source.
He is also believed to have concealed himself among the hundreds of students fleeing the school, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators were able to identify Cruz from school security videos and found him in a nearby neighborhood in Coral Springs, Florida, according to police.

Trump: ‘I’m totally opposed to domestic violence’:

President Donald Trump broke days of silence on the matter of spousal abuse, saying on Wednesday he was opposed to all manner of domestic violence.

“I’m totally opposed to domestic violence. And everybody here knows that,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “I’m totally opposed to domestic violence of any kind. Everyone knows that. And it almost wouldn’t even have to be said. So, now you hear it, but you all know.”
Trump had remained silent on his views toward domestic violence as a controversy has swirled over former White House aide Rob Porter, who was accused of abusing his ex-wives.
Porter denies all the allegations against him.

What North Korea’s Olympic delegation saw for the first time:

One peninsula, two very different ways of life.

Some of North Korea’s delegation to the PyeongChang Olympics stepped into a very different world from the sheltered and tightly controlled version of reality they’re accustomed to at home.
It’s not just new technology the North Koreans encountered on their three-day visit. It is the influx of everyone, from all corners of the globe.
“[The] atmosphere of freedom will be unfamiliar,” says Seoul resident Yang Yong-soo, 62. “They’ll probably think it’s a different dimension.”
CNN’s Will Ripley has reported from North Korea 17 times and has seen just how different the realities are between the two countries.

Scott Baio accused of harassment by another ‘Charles in Charge’ co-star:

Scott Baio has been accused of harassment and assault by his former “Charles in Charge” co-star, Alexander Polinsky.

Polinsky and his attorney, Lisa Bloom held a press conference on Wednesday. He was joined by his former co-star Nicole Eggert, also a minor at the time, who has also accused Baio of misconduct when they worked together from 1987 to 1990.
Polinsky claims Baio began verbally harassing him on the set of their sitcom when he was about 11 or 12 years old. He said Baio would direct homophobic slurs at him, and on one occasion, he was thrown to the floor by Baio when he went to sit on his lap.
“Scott Baio began a pattern of abuse that was unrelenting. Mr. Baio repeatedly told me about homosexual sex acts that he told me I would grow up to perform,” Polinsky said. “Scott told me of his sexual conquests with young girls… and at the same time tried to convince me I was unlovable and defective.”

Lorenza and Pete Ingram's wedding day.

At 24, I paid $102.32 to find love:

Sitting on the couch in my New York apartment, I sipped some wine and hesitantly typed the last few digits of my debit card into a subscription box on a paid dating site. At the time, I was a 24-year-old producer traveling the country, covering breaking news and the 2016 election. I had built a network of great colleagues and friends.

And yet, despite my career and friendships, I knew something was missing: love.
Since graduating college, dating had felt like a second job, and not a particularly enjoyable one at that. A lot of guys I encountered on Hinge, Bumble and other dating apps seemed to just want to date “casually.”
