2 injured in Austin explosion, authorities say:

An explosion that injured two men Sunday night — marking the fourth blast in Austin, Texas this month — could’ve been triggered by a tripwire, said Austin Police Chief Brian Manley.

Authorities are working under the belief that the latest incident is connected to the previous three explosions in the city, Manley said. At this point, information is preliminary, he said, and police have yet to fully process the scene.

Engine failure forces Ivanka, Jared’s helicopter to return to airport:

A helicopter carrying Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner had to return to an airport in Washington on Thursday after one of its engines failed, two law enforcement sources told CNN.

President Trump’s daughter and son-in-law were flying from Washington to New York on Thursday afternoon in a two-engine helicopter when one engine failed, causing the chopper to return to Washington.
The helicopter safely made it back to Ronald Reagan National Airport and the couple scrambled to get on a commercial flight instead.
The sources could not say why the couple were flying to New York via a helicopter instead of a plane.

Republicans warn Trump: Leave Mueller alone:

Key Republicans on Sunday warned President Donald Trump not to interfere with special counsel Robert Mueller.

Trump began Sunday morning by criticizing the special counsel on Twitter, one day after his lawyer issued a statement saying he prays for the Justice Department to end Mueller’s investigation.
Republicans strongly cautioned the President and his team to let Mueller do his work.

Cirque du Soleil performer dies after fall in Florida:

A Cirque du Soleil performer died Saturday night after he fell during a performance in Tampa, Florida.

The Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group said in a statement that Yann Arnaud, an aerialist, was performing during the company’s show “VOLTA” when he plummeted to the stage. Arnaud received medical attention and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
“The entire Cirque du Soleil family is in shock and devastated by this tragedy,” said Daniel Lamarre, president and CEO of the entertainment company, in the statement. “Yann had been with us for over 15 years and was loved by all who had the chance to know him.”

Fourth winter storm in 3 weeks to hit New England and mid-Atlantic:

Spring begins Tuesday, but winter isn’t ready to retire just yet.

A low-pressure system moving across the Southeast on Sunday and Monday is expected to develop into yet another nor’easter beginning Tuesday, according to CNN meteorologist Jenn Varian. This incoming storm, which will bring rain and snow across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, will be the fourth storm to ravage the East Coast in three weeks.
