Do you think you have what it takes to be a sheriff’s deputy?

The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department is hiring. The department is looking for candidates who have a high school diploma or equivalent, are 21 years old, currently have an Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Association certificate, have a valid State of Ohio driver’s license and have current auto insurance.

The sheriff’s department said candidates must not have been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor.

Exams will be given in early August.

Applications will only be accepted online and can be found here.

The application deadline is Aug. 3 at 4:30 p.m.
