The God Friended Me TV show, starring Brandon Michael Hall (The Mayor) is set to premiere Sunday, September 30th.
The inspirational television series is about an Atheist podcast host named Miles Finer (Hall). Finer is a spiritual skeptic who doesn’t exactly know what to do when God appears to add him on Facebook.
To make matters even more perplexing, the God account begins suggesting other friends. The series takes us on a journey of Miles becoming an agent of change in the lives of those around him.
Another twist in the uplifting comedy…. Even though Miles is an Atheist, his father (played by Joe Morton) is a Preacher.
CBS has released a six minute first look at the show, which also stars Violett Beane, Suraj Sharma, and Javicia Leslie.
