More dates are being added to Michelle Obama’s upcoming book tour “due to overwhelming fan demand,” according to organizers.
Details of the nationwide book tour for “Becoming,” the former first lady’s memoir, which is poised to be released Nov. 13, were first announced last week.
But on Thursday, Obama’s publisher and entertainment company Live Nation said additional dates in Washington, D.C., and New York would be added to accommodate growing interest in the events.
The tour is poised to kick off on the book’s release date in Obama’s hometown of Chicago, with stops at stadiums in 10 cities, before ending in Brooklyn on Dec. 19.
