Pastor Caesar has a thriving church home in Raleigh, North Carolina at Mount Calvary Word of Faith Church and when she is not ministering there, she is traveling throughout the country singing and employing her “take you to church” philosophy to bring a younger generation to the word of God. She is having a 2-day celebration at Mount Calvary Word of Faith Church October 12-13th and you are invited!!
The First Lady of Gospel Music received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. This pretigious award is given by the Recording Academy to “performers who, during their lifetimes, have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording.” Very few artists, especially those in the Gospel world, are chosen each year by the Recording Academy to receive this honor. Pastor Caesar being among one of seven other artists recieving the award last year including Nina Simone and Sly Stone.
