The seventh and final suspect involved in the shooting death of a 9-year-old girl back in June has been arrested, Cleveland police and the U.S. Marshals announced Wednesday.

Timothy Greene, 20, was taken into custody near the 4100 block of East 160th St. in Cleveland. He had been on the run for more than three months following a June 20 shootout with six others that saw Saniyah Nicholson get caught in the crossfire while her mother was picking up her brother from a boxing club on the city’s east side. The Maple Heights child died after getting shot in the head.

The six other suspects were all arrested within a week of Saniyah’s death. Two are 16 years old and another 17, and there names have not been released. The others are:

  • Aaron George, 18
  • Ce’Matzea Andrews, 19
  • Devontae Nettles, 19

All have been charged with aggravated murder, with the three previous adults scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Oct. 11. A court date for Greene has not yet been set.
