Strasbourg Christmas market shooting: Gunman at large after three kille:

A massive hunt is underway for a gunman who opened fire near a popular Christmas market in the center of the French city of Strasbourg Tuesday, killing three peopleĀ and injuring 13 others.

More than 350 police gendarmes and soldiers supported by air units have been mobilized to find the suspect, who was already known to security services as a possible threat, police said.

Speaking to French radio station Inter on Wednesday, the county’s Deputy Interior Minister, Laurent Nunez, said that authorities could not confirm that the suspect has “terrorist motivations.”
Nunez added that while authorities have secured the border and set up a perimeter around Strasbourg, they are not sure if the suspect is still in France.

Pelosi questions Trump’s manhood, compares him to skunk after border wall meeting:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi privately questioned President Donald Trump’s “manhood” after a contentious meeting Tuesday about funding his wall at the southern border.

“It’s like a manhood thing for him,” Pelosi told Democratic members at a closed meeting of the Steering and Policy Committee on Capitol Hill, according to an aide in the room. “As if manhood could ever be associated with him. This wall thing.”

Judge orders Stormy Daniels to pay nearly $300,000 in legal fees to Trump’s attorneys in defamation case:

A federal judge in California has ordered Stormy Daniels pay $293,052.33 in attorney’s fees, costs and sanctions to the lawyers representing President Donald Trump in the defamation suit Daniels and her attorney Michael Avenatti brought against Trump earlier this year.

Trump’s attorney, Charles Harder, had asked for a total of nearly $780,000 from the adult films actress — $389,000 in attorney fees and another $389,000 in sanctions in a hearing last week.

Kathie Lee Gifford is leaving ‘Today’:

Television icon Kathie Lee Gifford will bid farewell to NBC’s “Today” show next April.

“As we all know, Kathie Lee’s plate has been overflowing lately with film, music and book projects, and after giving us eleven extraordinary years, she’s decided to focus her attention full-time on those other creative endeavors,” NBC News President Noah Oppenheim wrote in an internal memo Tuesday morning.
Oppenheim called her a “legend” for her “enduring and endearing talents in morning television.”
From 1985 until 2000, Gifford co-hosted “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee.” In 2008, she became Hoda Kotb’s co-host on the 10 a.m. hour of “Today.”

Time Person of the Year: ‘The Guardians and the War on Truth’:

Time magazine has chosen “The Guardians,” a group of journalists who have been targeted for their work, as Person of the Year.

A series of four black-and-white covers highlights what the magazine calls “the War on Truth.”
The group includes Jamal Khashoggi, the Washington Post contributor who was killed at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul in October. This is the first time that a Person of the Year is a deceased person
