The “formidable yet likable” logo feature’s the school’s trademark teal coloring.
Cuyahoga Community College has long been referred to as “Tri-C.” Now, the school has added a unique twist to its name.
Tri-C on Thursday unveiled a creative new “Triceratops” logo for both the school and its athletic teams. The name itself was chosen back in October following a poll of students, staff, and alumni.
“A mascot serves as a unifying symbol that connects students and alumni to their College. It’s a recognizable symbol that builds engagement and a sense of community,” Tri-C President Alex Johnson said. “As of today, we stand together as the Tri-C Triceratops.”
Additionally, fans can purchase merchandise featuring the image beginning this Jan. 14 at the Tri-C bookstore both in-person and online.
