Stouffer’s is lending a helping hand to government workers affected by the partial government shutdown.

In a Facebook post on Friday the company announced it would offer free meals to any worker affected in Northeast Ohio.

“Stouffer’s has been a part of the Cleveland community since 1924,” said the company in the post. “During this difficult time caused by the shutdown, we want to support you like you have supported us.”

On Wednesday January 16, 2019, starting at 10 a.m. the company will be handing out meals to those who need it with a valid government I.D. Meals will be given out at the Stouffer’s Solon campus on Bainbridge Road as long as supplies last.

Stouffer’s says it also donating meals to the Cleveland Food Bank which will also distribute them to those in need.
