Then going on a successful tour and marrying the woman in his dreams, hit singer Whitney Houston. To losing her but having a great relationship with their daughter. The 49-year-old New Edition singer recounts the moment that he met Whitney in an interview on 20/20.
Brown and the late Houston were married for 15 years. In the new ABC interview, Brown tells Roberts he’s still deeply in love with Houston.
“For the rest of my life, I will have that feeling towards her because she was the one person that knew me – that one person who had no judgement.”
In his book, Brown writes he broke tradition and peeked in on Houston prior to the ceremony, and was “shocked” to witness Houston “hunched over a bureau snorting a line of coke.”
