Attention all actors who want to make their break . A lead singer in a local Cleveland rock band is directing and writing a new show that takes place in Cleveland, and the production crews wants your talent.

Directed by Brent Gorcie, the show, called “BURNT” is about a couple of verge-of-retirement hitmen from the UK who go on vacation and unexpectedly end up in Cleveland while a couple of average locals find themselves making a career change, according to the Cleveland Film Commission.

The dark comedy is filming for the episode one pilot, which set to begin in May 2019. “BURNT” will be around 13 episodes per season, each episode being 45-55 minutes in length

Auditions for the show are taking place at Beachland Ballroom & Tavern, 15711 Waterloo Road, on Saturday, March 16 from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Film crews recommend arriving as close to 11 a.m. as possible. There will be no talent that is accepted after 3:00 p.m.

Requirements:

  • Audition participants should prepare a 30-second monologue in a similar theme of the desired character role
  • May be filmed.
  • Sides will also be available for a cold read.
  • Bring a headshot and resume to the audition
