Cyclone Idai has swept through Southern Africa, potentially killing hundreds of people and leaving widespread flooding in Mozambique.

People in cyclone-hit areas of Mozambique are clinging desperately to rooftops in areas virtually submerged by flood water, awaiting aid and rescue, the charity Save the Children has said.
Aid workers are also racing against time to save thousands of children from becoming trapped in Buzi, a district in the country’s central Sofala province that could become submerged in the next 24 hours, according to an aerial survey, the international charity said.

JK Rowling is facing a backlash over the Dumbledore/Grindelwald gay relationship reveal:

Some people aren’t happy with JK Rowling’s assertions about the love match between Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

According to Mashable, the author talks about the couple in a feature included in the DVD and Blu-ray versions of “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.”
“Their relationship was incredibly intense. It was passionate, and it was a love relationship,” Rowling said. “But as happens in any relationship, gay or straight or whatever label we want to put on it, one never knows, really, what the other person is feeling.”
The “Harry Potter” author added: “You can’t know, you can believe you know.”
