The Cleveland Police Department and U.S. Marshals are on the hunt for an escaped psychiatric prisoner, Wednesday evening.
Jonathan Luton, 35, was being transferred to the North Coast Behavorial Facility when he escaped from an ambulance near East 30th Street and Chester Avenue around 5 p.m.
Officials say Luton is suicidal, wearing only a gown and high on drugs.
Luton is described as a 5’9” tall African American man weighing 175 pounds. He is wanted on a warrant for domestic violence, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.
Officials are concentrating their search on Cleveland’s east side. Anyone with any information on Luton or his whereabouts should contact local law enforcement or dial 1-866-4WANTED.
