Kudlow says Trump-Xi meeting likely next month at international summit:

Larry Kudlow, President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser, said Sunday there is a “strong possibility” Trump will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 economic summit in Japan next month and said he expects China to retaliate against the US for its increase last week in tariffs on Chinese goods as Beijing has indicated it would.

“We were moving well, constructive talks — and I still think that’s the case … but the problem is, two weeks ago in China, there was backtracking by the Chinese,” Kudlow told Fox News’ Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.”

Actress Felicity Huffman is expected to plead guilty today in college admission scandal:

Felicity Huffman is expected to plead guilty Monday to paying $15,000 to a fake charity that facilitated cheating for her daughter’s SATs.

The “Desperate Housewives” star could receive up to 20 years in prison.
The charity, associated with Rick Singer, helped wealthy parents cheat on standardized tests for their children. Singer also bribed college coaches to falsely designate students as recruited athletes, smoothing their path to admission, a criminal complaint says.

Kawhi Leonard’s Epic Game 7 Buzzer-Beater Bounces 4 Times, Drops for Win:

The Toronto Raptors acquired Kawhi Leonard for moments just like this.

The Raptors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 92-90 in Game 7 of their second-round series Sunday, and Leonard dealt the decisive blow as time expired.

He hit a fadeaway jumper from the right corner over Sixers center Joel Embiid. The ball bounced four times off the rim before going down.

Leonard had a game-high 41 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals

Let us now praise single moms:

Roughly 24 million, or one-third of all American children under age 18, are living with an unmarried parent, according to a Pew Research Center analysis last year of US Census Bureau data. And 81% of those single parent homes are headed by a mom.

This has been a growing trend since the late 1960s. The number of kids being raised by mostly single moms has more than doubled between 1968 and 2017.
Yet despite growing up in the middle of this trend, in the 1970s and ’80s, when divorce was increasingly common and “Kramer vs. Kramer” felt like the documentary of our childhood, and despite being part of a generation of latchkey kids who came home from school while parents were still at work, I was, I confess, embarrassed to be raised by a single mom when I was growing up.

Duchess Meghan celebrates her first Mother’s Day with new photo of baby Archie:

Though the UK celebrates Mother’s Day in March, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is still an American at heart.

An Instagram account she shares with husband Prince Harry released a sweet new photo of the newborn royal as the US, along with Canada, Australia and several other countries, celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday.
The duchess, 37, gave birth a week ago to her first child, Archie Harrison Mountbattan-Windsor.
“Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered,” the caption reads. “We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.”
