Kareem Hunt has had a controversial past, but after being cut by the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cleveland Browns were willing to take a chance on him and on Sunday showed their support to running back as he aims to be a man reborn.

In February of this year, the Browns signed Hunt to a one-year deal, giving him a second chance after being subsequently cut from the Chief’s roster when he was caught on camera shoving, pushing and kicking a woman.

Hunt has taken that second chance very seriously, speaking to high school students about his mistakes, attending weekly counseling and on Sunday, being baptized.

Browns General Manager John Dorsey and Head Coach Freddie Kitchens attended Hunt’s baptism ceremony, according to a post from Hunt’s agent Dan Saffron.
