One of our favorite’s Jermaine Dolly stopped by Sister Circle TV to discuss his gift of comedy and singing Gospel music.

The Gospel artist shared with the ladies how breaking into the Gospel industry wasn’t easy. He just knew he was about to change the game, until he got hit with a “I don’t know you!”, that experience sent him back to God for answers.

“assignment over accolade,” Jermaine shared with the ladies that’s what he heard Jesus saying to him.

“I’ll give you an assignment to do, and I’ll give you this unique way of presenting my message, and you’re so focused on fitting in and getting Grammys but you’re missing my mark.”

Also during the segment, Dolly shared what he took from Tye Tribbett after being one of his background singers for 6 years.

“His prayer life, Jermaine Dolly shared with the ladies. I got into the word because of him, he continued.

The “Serve” singer then shared some great news….. He’s working on a new album!
