A woman fell to her death at a parking garage hours after attending a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game. When police found a video she had been recording, they arrested her husband.

Bradley S. Jenkins, 30, is facing a domestic assault charge in the death of his wife, 27-year-old Allisa L. Martin, a probable cause affidavit shows.

Trump embraces time abroad as trouble brews at home:

President Donald Trump’s sojourn to Britain is, so far at least, a smooth and only marginally controversial success, at least by the turbulent standards of his foreign trips. But his strategy of constant confrontation has created a clutch of showdowns that threaten to erupt upon his return at the end of the week.

There’s the possibility of a revolt among GOP lawmakers dismayed at Trump’s sudden decision to impose compounding tariffs on Mexico as an immigration enforcement maneuver, some of whom railed against the idea in a private lunch Tuesday with White House and Justice Department officials.

Teen bitten by shark will undergo more surgeries following her leg amputation:

“We are pleased to share that Paige is resting well after returning to the operating room at Vidant Medical Center on June 4, 2019. While we understand she will require additional operations, our Paige is a fighter. Her courageous spirit continues to be a beacon of light for all of us,” the family of Paige Winter said in a statement.

‘Jeopardy!’ phenom James Holzhauer says he doesn’t think he changed the game forever:

James Holzhauer’s mind-boggling “Jeopardy!” streak came to a crashing halt Monday night, but the reality of his glorious run may not have entirely set in yet.

Jeopardy James, as he’s affectionately known, said he’s not sure how much he’s influenced the game, though he is interested to see whether future contestants mimic his thrilling, high-stakes playing style that captivated the audience.
“I don’t think I’ve changed the game of ‘Jeopardy!’ forever, but I’ll have to watch future episodes to see if everyone is playing this style now,” Holzhauer said in an interview with CNN affiliate KLAS.

CRISPR gene-edited babies may be at increased risk of early death, study finds:

Our genomes contain two copies of the CCR5 gene. It is known that people who carry two defective copies of this gene are highly resistant to HIV. But this double mutation of the CCR5 gene, which a Chinese scientist intentionally edited into human embryos last year, is also associated with a 21% increased risk of dying early, a new study showed.
