Beachwood Place could soon be getting a makeover.
E-mails obtained by Cleveland Jewish News suggest apartments, a hotel, and even a medical building could one day help revive the property.
The more than 300 messages span 2-years of conversations among officials in the City of Beachwood about the future of their mall.
Toronto-based Brookfield Properties purchased the property last year, and this year, journalist Alyssa Schmitt found they may have a bigger plan.
“In the emails we did see that there was a note that said Beachwood Place is one of the 100 that will be redeveloped,” Schmitt said. “Another thing that was mentioned in the e-mails is that Meijer’s could be coming in with their Fresh Thyme stores.”
