Former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of Botham Jean.
Guyger shot and killed Jean as he sat in his apartment on Sept. 6, 2018. Guyger lived in the same apartment complex at the time and said she mistakenly entered Jean’s apartment, thinking it was hers.
