Trick-or-treating is coming up soon and many children have food allergies.

When it comes to finding the safest stash to eat, News 5 looked at candy with the top eight allergens.

The allergens include milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, treenuts, peanuts, wheat or gluten and soy.

These foods accounts for about 90% of all food allergens in the U.S. and must be declared on candy labels.
