Here’s who will be in the show tonight:
Viola Davis & Andre Braugher will play Florida & James Evans…the role of JJ will be played by comedian Jay Pharoah,
Now playing the role of MIchael will be Asante Blackk….Playing the role of Thelma will be Corinne Fox…..Bringing the sass for across the hall
playing neighbor Willona Woods is none other that comedienne Tiffany Haddish… Now Emmy winner Jharrel Jerome is also in the cast in an unnamed role
AND!!! Patti Labelle & Anthony Anderson will be singing the theme song!!! WOW THIS IS GONNA BE GOOD!!

Why We Need To Know:
“Good Times” was a Lear spin-off from the tv show “Maude,” also a spin-off of “All in the Family.”
“Good Times” was created by Mike Evans — the original Lionel on “The Jefferson’s” and Eric Monte, the man also responsible for “The Jefferson’s,” “What’s Happening,” the tv version of his screenplay, “Cooley High.”
When “Good Times” premiered February 8, 1974, it was the first tv sitcom featuring a two-parent black family.
