We all have seen the fires that are engulfing Australia….The many photos and videos of animals being care for is very overwhelming. But a elementary school wanted to do something.
According to the Marion City School District, a first-grade class at McKinley Elementary School made a card to send it to Australia. Students signed it by coloring in koala bears to attach to it.
And it indeed made it to Australia.. The Koala Hospital Port Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia, received the note of compassion from the Ohio city over 9,000 miles away
And they put the letter on social media.
