Fish fry season is upon us in Northeast Ohio. And here’s a list of churches and restaurants
1.) Mom’s Pierogies: 8467 Memphis Avenue, Brooklyn. (216-309-1570)
Typically known for their pierogi, Mom’s Pierogies in Brooklyn becomes a fish fry frenzy during lent. They are open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday’s.
2.) Church of the Assumption: 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights. (440-526-1177)
The Church of the Assumption’s Magnificent Fish Fry kicks off on Feb. 28 and goes until April 3. Adults can get two pieces of fried cod or two crab cakes or eight shrimp or eight pierogi for $11.
