The Cleveland Depart of Health confirmed the city’s first coroanvirus fatality in addition to nine new cases.

The patient was a woman between the ages of 70 and 80 years old.

We will see more cases, and more fatalities in the days and weeks ahead because this virus doesn’t care about your age, your income or your race – no one is immune,” said Mayor Frank Jackson in a press release. “Every day, I am leading this administration to work for you to provide the essential services you need and protect residents and employees. We need you to do your part, stay at home, practice social distancing and help slow the spread,” he continued.
