Katie French on Her Journey and New Album "Finding My Way"

Katie’s journey into music took a brave turn when she decided to pursue her passion independently. “I felt unfulfilled working a nine-to-five for someone else’s vision. I knew God called me to do something with music,” she reflected. She recalled quitting her job and rushing to her husband’s workplace to announce her decision. “I walked out because there’s something greater that needs to be done with the music inside of me.” Her husband’s support has been crucial, especially during tough times.

As they discussed the challenges of the music industry, Erica offered prayers for Katie’s strength. “What’s next for you musically and spiritually?” she asked. Katie expressed her eagerness to collaborate with both emerging and seasoned artists, saying, “What God has for me is mine. It’s already done.”

The conversation took a lighter turn when they talked about Katie’s humor. Erica asked where she gets her comedic flair, and Katie mentioned her parents, joking, “I got the best of both worlds.”
