Dr. Willie Jolley’s principle to win BIG today is “Leaders Are Like Diamonds“
This week I’m sharing tips from the leadership master class I did a few weeks ago to help people thrive this year. So many people around the world have reached out to me about this class and how it has impacted them. And many said it has changed their thinking in a big way.
One of the points I shared in the class. Leaders are like diamonds and diamonds do not start out as diamonds, but start out as pieces of coal. Everyday ordinary pieces of coal that go through a challenging time. They are separated from the pack and they go through some adversity, some difficulty and some pressure, and when they come out in a pressure situation, they are no longer pieces of coal, but they are diamonds.
There’s a diamond in you. You might be going through a challenging time right now. A time of adversity and difficulty, and you’re dealing with pressure. Just keep the faith. And keep going because you will realize you’re getting better in the process. You’re being developed into a greater and better you. You’re being developed into a great leader. And remember, leadership is not a title. It’s an action. We talk more about that. In the class anyway. That. Amen. Amen. Amen.
