Teyana Taylor Gets CÉCRED Salon Treatment With A Scalp Analysis And Chic Style

Teyana Taylor is the latest celeb to step into the CÉCRED Salon for a luxurious scalp cleansing and style.
In a new episode of Who’s In The CÉCRED Salon?, which premiered on Thursday, June 12, the multi-talented dancer, actress, and singer joined forces with the brand’s Director of Education, Dr. Kari, for an in-depth scalp analysis. The goal? To determine whether Beyoncé’s CÉCRED hydrating products could help revive the celebrity’s dry scalp and mild buildup around her hair follicles.
Dr. Kari kicked off the session by applying CÉCRED’s clarifying shampoo along with a scalp scrub, working both into the hair with a soothing circulation-boosting massage that instantly lulled the Straw actress to sleep.
Next, it was off to the shampoo bowl, where Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, stepped in to rinse and apply the Reconstructing Treatment Mask, formulated to restore moisture and balance natural oils. She followed it with CÉCRED’s Moisturizing Shampoo to complete the nourishing treatment.
Taylor played a game of “This or That.”
After treating the Harlem native’s crown to a rich lather with CÉCRED’s Moisturizing Deep Conditioner, Taylor took a seat for a fun round of “This or That.” During the game, she opened up about her passion for performing over choreography, her deep love for crafting R&B ballads, and answered the ultimate challenge: choosing her favorite Destiny’s Child song.
When faced with the tough decision between “Say My Name” and “Jumpin’, Jumpin’,” the 34-year-old star picked the former without hesitation, describing it simply as a whole “mood.”
As for “Jumpin’, Jumpin’,” Taylor acknowledged its iconic status but joked that it didn’t quite fit her current vibe—especially since she wouldn’t dream of leaving her new boo, Aaron Pierre, at home.
“I’m not leaving my man at home, he’s fine,” she gushed.
Taylor wrapped up the session with a flawless blow-dry and style, courtesy of stylist Edith Donaldson. Donaldson trimmed her pixie cut and added soft curls to create the illusion of classic finger waves, giving the star a polished, vintage-inspired look.
