Are you ready for some Praise and Worship?  That will be the cry at the 12th Super Bowl Gospel Celebration.

In its twelfth year, the event comes to North Texas on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Music Hall in Fair Park.  Like Texas, this event is big and will be bigger and better than ever! This year’s featured guest is Grammy Award winning artist Mary Mary.

Mr. and Mrs. Pat and Emmitt Smith Charities have been named the official North Texas charitable partner for the 2011 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. The partnership was announced during a private reception to kick-off the Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities signature fund raising event, the Second Annual Emmitt Smith Celebrity Invitational.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration brings an evening of fellowship and fun for the entire family to Dallas during Super Bowl XLV Weekend. In its 12th year, this inspirational concert features top NFL players, Grammy Award-winning and multiplatinum-selling artists, and special guests. SBGC is the only place you will see the NFL PLAYERS All-Star Choir, a performance that has become one of the most anticipated events during Super Bowl Weekend. Named by USA Today as “One of the Best Super Bowl Events to Attend,” SBGC is the only inspirational concert that aired on ESPN. Additionally, each year, a portion of ticket sales go to a local charitable organization. Mark your calendars for Friday, February 4, 2011, 7:30 p.m. for the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The event also serves as a fundraiser with a portion of the proceeds benefiting national and local charities. More than $400,000 and 5,000 tickets have been donated over the last eleven years.
