Six players won’t be with the Cleveland Browns next season, including defensive lineman Shaun Rogers.
The Browns said on Wednesday that the team terminated the contracts of Rodgers, Eric Barton, David Bowens, Kenyon Coleman, Robert Royal and John St. Clair.
Rogers has spent the last three seasons in Cleveland, after starting his career with the Detroit Lions. He missed training camp last season because of a leg injury. Rogers was arrested in July for carrying a gun in his baggage at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Tight end Royal only had five receptions during the 2010 season for just 56 yards.
