Maranatha! Music released its Top 25 Gospel praise and worship songs that have been sung in churches across America over the last year.

The two-disc set reflects the most popular worship songs of 2010-2011 as determined by more than 170,000 churches in North America.

The songs are compiled by the Christian Copyright Licensing International organization, known for tracking the usage of worship music in churches for copyright purposes. CCLI compiles their list of popular praise and worship songs based on their use in worship services throughout the United States and Canada.

The Top 25 brand is Maranatha! Music’s best selling original series with more than 1.5 million copies sold to date. This year’s selection features productions by PAJAM (Paul “PDA” Allen, J Moss and Walter Kearney-in photo), Luther “Mano” Haynes, and others.

Songs featured in the latest album include five songs from Grammy Award-winning Jonathan Butler, including his popular song on iTunes “Falling in Love with Jesus,” Donnie McClurkin’s “Lord I Lift Your Name on High,” songs by J Moss, Charles Billingsley, PDA, Micah Stampley, Juanita Bynum, Brian Courtney Wilson, Tommy Walker, and many more.

Maranatha! Music is known for promoting classics throughout churches through song publishing, music in stores and church leadership training. They are proud to call themselves the shepherds of today’s “Jesus Music.” They are best known for producing the Praise series, Praise Band series, and Top 25 series since 1999 with more than 30 million records sold worldwide.
