When Jones admitted to using drugs, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) stripped her of her medals and stripped her teammates,’ who took part in the U.S. Women’s 4×400 Relay Team and 4×100 Relay Team, medals too.
Now those women have brought the case to the top-governing sports authority, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS), to see if they can get the IOC decision appealed.
Jones ran the 4×400 relay with Jearl Miles-Clark, Monique Hennagan, LaTasha Colander Clark and Andrea Anderson. She ran the 4×100 with Chryste Gaines, Torri Edwards, Nanceen Perry and Passion Richardson, although Perry is not participating in the appeal.
