There is a group of grandmothers who are Lebron James’ biggest fans. They watched him play in high school, and now they watch him play with the Cavs.  While we wait and anticipate his next move, the members of this fan club say they have a feeling they know what he is going to do.

The group started with 20 members back in 2006. Now, there are more than 200 grannies that are members of the fan club.

Not only do they catch all the games on TV and a few in person — they also mentor children, go to nursing homes, and do several other outreach projects in their communities. They are committed, just like LeBron. And that is why they feel he won’t be leaving Ohio or the Cavs anytime soon.

“I think he has something he wants to do for Northeast Ohio. And he hasn’t finished yet. Maybe later on. But he is a home town young man,” says Alder Chapman, President of the Lebron James Grandmothers Fan Club.

The ladies also have the LeBron James Grandmother’s Fan Club Cookbook. In it, they have recipes like Lebron’s Fried Shrimp and Mo’s Breakfast Brunch Cobbler. Many of the recipes are named after members of the Cavs.
