Christian artists Melinda Watts, Kerri Herndon, Karima Kibble, Niyoki, Crystal Aiken, and Sheri Jones Moffett will be encouraging young girls to make positive choices and build healthy relationships with their parents and peers through through a mix of high-energy entertainment, real-life stories, drama presentations, and live performances.

The Dream Girlz Gathering, which is geared towards junior and senior high students, will convene on August 19-21, 2010 in Vineland, New Jersey at the Cumberland County College and is expected to hit Brooklyn, Sacramento, Cleveland and 12 other cities within the next year.

The events provide positive perspectives and role models such as media mogul Neechy from NeechyTV and gospel music artist and 2008 Gospel Dream winner Melinda Watts. “All of the fun and energy of the event has a purpose: it gets the girls’ attention so we can address the reality of what girls deal with today. So many of them struggle with self-esteem, relationships, and wanting to know their lives have a purpose. We can help with that,” said Melinda Watts.
