Fred Hammond is gearing up for JOYFEST, which is set to hit Kings Dominion, just outside of Richmond, VA on Saturday, July 17th. However Hammond is busy in many other areas of his life as well. He is currently in the middle of writing a book about his life…including the good the bad and the ugly.
Weeks after Joyfest, Hammond is set to drop his next CD on Tuesday, July 27th.
On his last CD, his hit single, ‘They that wait,” was actually birthed out of a favor. Hammond said, John P. Kee owed him a favor, so he got John to cut the single with him. So he e-mailed John his part and John e-mailed it back to him. With a little help from technology a hit was born.
