Hundreds came out Saturday afternoon to participate in the 2010 Word Mart.
The yearly event supplies families of the Cleveland community and surrounding areas with various items that they need but are unable to afford at the time. At previous Word Mart events, clothes, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, food and more were.
The events are enriching for the entire family, and have various entertainment and educational outlets onsite such as performances from local artists, community organizations, and more.
This year, Word Mart partnered up with the Cleveland Indians and Fifth Third Bank to extend our reach and impact to more families than ever before. The giveaways include bikes and shoes to thousands of underprivileged children ages 14 and under.
