Anyone attend the three-day Essence Music Festival in New Orleans this past weekend? From the news reports it seems as if everyone had a great time!
The all-star gospel music tribute to Shirley Caesar, Kirk Franklin, and Bishop Paul S. Morton and Pastor Debra Morton toward the end of the festivities was well attended. Their were gospel music performances by Marvin Sapp, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett, Ledisi, Juanita Bynum and The Clark Sisters. Pastor Marvin Winans delivered the sermon.
