On Friday night NBA All-Star weekend went into full gear with the Celebrity Game and the Sophomore vs Rookie Challenge. The Rookie squad led by John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins and Blake Griffin defeated the wise fools 148-140. (The 288 total points might be a record for the Rookie-Sophomore contest).
The NBA Slam Dunk Competition has always been the most anticipated event of NBA All-Star Weekend. At around 10pm on a Saturday night in mid-February stars from the world of music, movies, and sports crowd into the arena hoping to see something they’ve never seen before.
