Billy Graham has launched a new daily, one-year reading plan through YouVersion Bible App featuring biblical wisdom and practical advice, derived from decades of Graham’s sermons and writings. The reading plan features content from his popular devotion, Day by Day with Billy Graham, in an easy-to-read, easy-to-share format aimed to supplement app users’ daily scripture readings.
“Billy Graham, through his more than 70 years of evangelistic preaching and writing, is known for proclaiming the truth of the Gospel around the world,” said Ken Braun, chief of staff for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). “His teaching is credible, consistent and reliable. Just as his ministry today, everything always points to the cross and the hope that we have through a relationship with Jesus Christ.”
The launch of the reading plan also coincides with YouVersion’s fifth anniversary and 100-million downloads milestone, which has earned recognition from Apple as one of the top 100 free apps in three consecutive years. In addition, YouVersion reports that more than 9.5 million daily reading plans have been completed in the past five years.
