In 1988, Chicago Mass Choir began their journey in Gospel Music by uniting singers and musicians in hopes of crossing barriers with their music.
From live recordings to national and international concerts and tours, this Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award nominated choir has set the tone for Gospel choirs with their recognizable sound and chart topping hits.
In 1991, the legendary Chicago Mass Choir won “Best New Artist” at the Gospel Music Excellence Awards for their first live project Right Now If You Believe, recorded in Chicago, IL.
Chicago Mass Choir has been recognized for their hit songs, “I Can Go to The Rock”, “He That Believeth”, “Holy Ghost Power”, “You Love Me”, “Jesus Promised”, “I Pray We’ll Be Ready”, “Mighty Good God”, which other choirs have been singing all across the country since 1991.
As their music and journey continues, the nationally acclaimed Chicago Mass Choir will record and return to their hometown of Chicago after 10 years for their 16th live project.
On, Saturday, May 3rd, Chicago Mass Choir will take the stage for their 16th Live Recording, held at Sweet Holy Spirit Church, 8621 South Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL.
The choir’s most anticipated recording will begin at 7pm and will beĀ produced
by, Stellar Award winners, Percy Gray, Jr. and Jeral Gray, Sr.
