A Cleveland mother of three has a new home thanks to a Web series.
“Prank it FWD” is a series from Break.com that flips traditional viral pranks to reward deserving people with positive pranks.
Cara Simmons was nominated by her boss at Cleveland’s Maid Brite and her sister, Glo.
The hardworking housekeeper was recently hospitalized for stress and exhaustion, and money has been tight.
During what her boss tells her is a cleaning job for a particularly important client, Cara is tasked with some less-than-traditional assignments.
In the end, the twist is revealed — the house she showed up to clean is her own.
Cara’s video, which is the Season 2 launch episode for “Prank it FWD,” has been viewed more than 1 million times in the first 48 hours, and Cara is receiving national attention from “Today,” “Queen Latifah,” the Huffington Post and more.
